1. How did some of the CLOVIS PEOPLE live?

2. What creatures did they live with?

Clovis people lived in tribes. They worked, and hunted together. These people lived in times when creatures like Mammoths, and Saber Tooth Cats lived. They hunted with many weapons, but the Clovis point was probably the most powerful of them all. Clovis points are spear points that the Clovis people made. The Clovis People and Pre-Clovis People were commonly known as the Paleo-Indians.

Some Clovis People would move from place to place to find food, much like the Native Americans we usually think of. Many would hunt mammoths and use every part of them.

Clovis People are like the Native Americans but they lived earlier. Describe how trade led early farmers to have contact with other groups and enhanced the sharing of information. Trade led early farmers to exchange information on farming and how they lived. The tribes each had different ways of living. The early farmers used different ways to farm and other things that they exchanged with the other tribes.

Explain why early people moved from place to place hunting and gathering food.The clovis people were hunters and gatherers, they traveled through many migrations due to abundance of food they had in their present region. The mammoths also had large migrations, and the Clovis people needed their meat to survive.
